This short circuit goes around Piton Bébour in the heart of the Bébour forest, among tree ferns, mosses and native hardwoods of the highlands. An easy way into the mountain rainforest, to combine with the nearby botanical trail.

The path is often muddy and slippery: closed shoes and a rain jacket are advised. It is cool at 1,400 m; check on the ONF website that the Bébour forest roads and trails are open before you go.
