At Îlet Coco, the Marsouins River flows down from the Takamaka valley between bamboo and boulders: you ride it by raft, two-seater canoe-raft or airboat, with a state-qualified guide. Rapids, jumps and dips in the currents make for a fun outing, open from age 6.
You must be able to swim. Sessions from 9 am to 12 noon or 1 pm to 4 pm (about 1 h 45 on the water); life jacket, helmet and wetsuit provided, bring trainers that will get wet and a swimsuit. The route depends on the river level: after heavy rain or a weather warning, follow your guide's instructions.
