Sights · Saint-Benoît
Near the village of Sainte-Anne, the river forms a large clear pool lined with shady picnic areas. A freshwater swimming spot much loved by families at weekends.
No lifeguards: signs warn of the risk of flash floods. Water quality is tested monthly and results are posted by the town; after heavy rain the water may be declared unfit for swimming (ARS), so check the notices before you go. Combine with the nearby Sainte-Anne church.
