This viewing platform looks down several hundred metres onto the hamlet of Grand Bassin, nestled at the bottom of the valley where three rivers meet and reachable only on foot. You can also spot the freight cableway that supplies the hamlet's residents.
Come early: clouds often fill the valley by late morning. It is also the start of the descent to Grand Bassin, whose climb back up is steep. Leave no valuables visible in the car.
